A look inside
Four care routines
TeethTalk guides you through each routine and logs it when you finish, so your habit has a record.
Brushing
A guided two-minute timer with quadrant coaching, so each part of your mouth gets its share of the time.
Mouthwash
A simple countdown you can set to match your mouthwash label. Follow the label for the amount, timing and next steps.
Flossing
Thirty interdental gaps, timed one at a time, so you don't lose your place.
Whitening strips
An adjustable wall-clock timer of roughly 30 minutes, with a notification when it's done.
The Teeth Score
A single number from 0 to 100, computed on your device from your own history. It reflects how consistently you keep up your hygiene routines, so you can see your habit at a glance and watch it move over time.
Works with Apple Health
With your permission, TeethTalk writes completed brushing sessions to Apple Health using the system toothbrushing event type, and reads your brushing history back from Health to power its trends.
The other three routines have no Apple Health data type, so they're stored only in a local file on your device. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
“Your Teeth” — a chat with a character
Name your teeth, then chat with optional AI characters about your routine. With your permission, they can reflect derived habit summaries such as your score and streak. They are for motivation and entertainment, not medical or dental advice, and replies may be inaccurate.
Insights and widgets
Insights covers streaks, trends and habit analysis over time. iOS home-screen widgets keep your routines within reach, and a Live Activity tracks a routine while it's in progress.
There are also achievements, accent-color themes and adjustable goals.

Common questions
What is TeethTalk?
TeethTalk is a free oral-care app for iPhone. It runs guided timers for four routines — a two-minute quadrant-by-quadrant brushing timer, an adjustable mouthwash rinse, a gap-by-gap flossing pass, and a whitening-strip timer — and turns the resulting history into a 0–100 Teeth Score. It is a wellness and habit-tracking app, not a medical device, and it does not give medical or dental advice.
Is TeethTalk free?
Yes. TeethTalk is free to download, and the free tier includes all four routine timers, Apple Health logging, the Teeth Score, and 10 AI messages per day with one favorite tooth. TeethTalk Premium is an optional subscription at $3.99 per month or $29.99 per year that adds the full Insights breakdown, 100 AI messages per day across all 32 teeth, whitening tracking, achievements, accent themes and adjustable goals.
What is the Teeth Score, and how is it calculated?
The Teeth Score is a single number from 0 to 100 that measures habit consistency. It is computed entirely on your device from your last 7 days of history, with the most recent 3 days counted at double weight. The weighting is 70% brushing and 30% flossing; mouthwash adds bonus points and never subtracts them. It is an app habit metric, not a clinical or dental assessment.
Does TeethTalk work with Apple Health?
Yes. With your permission, TeethTalk writes each completed brushing session to Apple Health using the system toothbrushing event type, and reads your brushing history back to build trends. Apple Health has no data type for mouthwash, flossing or whitening, so those three routines are stored only in a local file on your device. You can revoke Health access at any time in the Health app.
Does TeethTalk need an account, and does it track me?
No on both counts. TeethTalk has no sign-up, no login and no user accounts, and it contains no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking. Raw Apple Health samples and photos never leave your device. AI features stay off until you tap Allow, and can be turned off again in Settings. The privacy policy has the full detail.
What is the AI chat, and is it dental advice?
The chat lets you talk to optional AI characters that speak as your teeth. With your permission, they can reference derived habit summaries such as your Teeth Score, streak and recent routines. They are for motivation and entertainment only. Replies can be inaccurate and are not medical or dental advice, diagnosis or treatment. Ask a qualified dental professional about symptoms, pain or changes to your care.
Which devices does TeethTalk support?
TeethTalk runs on iPhone with iOS 18.0 or later. There is no Android version. Version 1.0 was released on 7 September 2026.
